Wash basmati rice two times and soak for 20min
Meanwhile shell green peas and wash throughly
Now in a pressure cooker add oil or ghee and allow to heat
Now add whole garam masala that is cardamom, cinnamon, peppercorns, bayleaf, shahjeera, star anise and saute
Now add green chillies and onions add little salt to fasten the process and fry till onions turn translucent
Now remove water from rice and add it to the mixture
Now add green peas and Saute for a minute, add 2 cups of water and salt
Adjust salt as you added earlier now close lid and cook for 3 whistles
Allow to release pressure and serve hot with raita
